GENERATIONS

Multi-state campaign featuring 3-4 generations of farmers, discussing their legacy, and showcasing long-standing relationships. 

The campaign ran for four years and was composed of the following elements:

  • 2-3 minute video story

  • Dedicated website - which hosted the videos, story summaries and crop information

  • Regional advertisements - print, digital and internet

PARTNER PROGRAM

Marketing campaign throughout Northern California to the Top 500 businesses in the region --

to promote the museum exhibits and programming.

  • Raised $30,000+

Partnerships included promotion on the national NARM program, exhibit sponsorship, and free partner entry passes for donors.

INT'L LATINO FILM FESTIVAL

Marketing campaign to promote a groundbreaking international film festival
held in Northern California. Elements included: 

  • Printed/Online materials (booklet, poster, flyers)

  • A series of focused materials -
    flyers with showtimes for grouped topics
    (children's, horror,
    romance, Jewish, etc)

  • Presentation to special interest groups to solicit funding, bulk ticket purchases, and host special events

DOCUMENTARY
PRODUCTION & PROMO

Research and development of a documentary focused on climate justice in the U.S. 

Produced a spectrum of materials to advance funding and support 

  • Story pitch deck

  • Teaser trailer production

  • Extensive reserach summaries on climate issues in BIPOC communities worldwide

 

SOCIAL JUSTICE COMMUNICATIONS

Directed communications efforts to support a spectrum of human rights programs with Western Center on Law & Poverty.

Ongoing work includes a press conference to support affordable housing, a coordinated media roll-out to support street vendors, and an online information webinar featuring experts on policy around medical bias and Black maternal health. â€‹

SUPPORT FOR AFFORDABLE HOUSING

Managed the acquisition of funding to support development of supportive housing. Led a new website design initiative to increase outreach and exposure. Crafted a high-level communications campaign, contributing to increased engagement and grant success rates.

MULTIMEDIA BRANDING 

Multi-state campaign to build brand awareness and encourage engagement. 

Strategies included:

  • Videos promoting services with branded intros

  • Engaging images and themes with catchy memes and information

  • Annual dividend campaigns incorporating a mashup of images and themes

ERASURE EXHIBIT

Support of the exhibit "Erasure—Native American Genocide: A Legacy" at ReflectSpace Gallery. Wrote all PR, produced a promo video, hosted an opening night celebration, and developed accompanying public arts events -- related film exhibit & book talk, public performance, and exhibit artists Q&A.

Includes promotion of related library reading material, in-library promotional signage, large exterior building posters, and more than a dozen exhibit promotional banners staged city-wide.

INT'L CULTURAL FILM & MUSIC DVD

Crafted a DVD and text to  accompany the 1935 silent film, "Legong: Dance of the Virgins," backed by a live Balinese orchestra and performed at the Castro Theater in San Francisco.
